بعدما أعلن رئيس مجلس الوزراء سعد الحريري إستقالة الحكومة، توجه الحريري الى قصر بعبدا لتقديم الاستقالة الى رئيس الجمهورية العماد ميشال عون.

وتسلّم عون من الحريري استقالة الحكومة.
