أفاد المركز الوطني للجيوفيزياء في بحنس التابع للمجلس الوطني للبحوث العلمية، بأنّ "الهزة التي شعر بها المواطنون في مناطق عدة في لبنان، حصلت في البحر الابيص المتوسط على الحدود بين تركيا وسوريا، وهي بقوة 4.3 درجات على مقياس ريختر، ولا ارتدادات لها في لبنان.
